Plaster of Paris

Plaster of Paris (POP) is a quick-setting, white powder made from gypsum that hardens when mixed with water. It is widely used in construction, art, and medical fields for creating smooth wall finishes, decorative moldings, false ceilings, sculptures, and orthopedic casts. POP is easy to apply, sets rapidly, and provides a smooth, paint-ready surface. Its lightweight nature, affordability, and ability to take detailed shapes make it ideal for intricate designs. However, it is best used in dry interiors, as it is not water-resistant.
