Waterproofing Membrane

Composition: APP membranes are a blend of bitumen and a plastic polymer (atactic polypropylene). This mixture is reinforced with a material like fiberglass or polyester to give the membrane high tensile strength and dimensional stability. ​Durability and Longevity: The addition of the APP polymer makes the membrane highly resistant to UV radiation, weathering, and extreme temperature variations. This allows it to maintain its integrity over a long period, even in hot climates, without the need for an additional protective layer. ​Flexibility: Despite being a tough material, APP membranes remain flexible, allowing them to accommodate structural movements and temperature-induced expansion and contraction without cracking.
