W166 CAN Control Module

This is a dedicated Trailer Hitch / Towbar Electronic Control Unit (ECU). It wires into the vehicle's interior CAN-Bus network to manage trailer operations—such as regulating trailer lighting (turn signals, brake lights, fog lights), disabling the vehicle's rear parking sensors when a trailer is hitched, and adjusting stability control protocols for towing.
