Umbilical Cord Clamp

Umbilical cord clamps are used to secure the umbilical cord after delivery, preventing bleeding from the cord stump. They are typically applied before the cord is cut or ligated. The clamps help stop blood flow from the three blood vessels in the cord, two arteries and one vein.
