Dual-Battery Package This package gives the user two battery options: Standard Non-Rechargeable Battery The included standard 9V non-rechargeable battery allows the metal detector to be operated immediately after installation. It must be replaced when depleted and should never be connected to a battery charger. Additional Rechargeable Battery The package also contains one Multiple Power 6F22-format Ni-MH rechargeable battery rated at 300mAh and marked 8.4V nominal voltage. The scanner’s documented operating-voltage range is 6.8–10V DC, making this battery type suitable for powering the unit. The rechargeable battery can be recharged and reused with a compatible 9V Ni-MH battery charger, helping reduce the need to purchase disposable batteries frequently. A charger is not included in this package.
