Slow Speed Drill Armature

This is a VTP13 armature, a key rotating component used in electric power tools such as drills, grinders, or cutters. Description: The armature consists of a laminated steel core stacked in sections to reduce energy loss from eddy currents. Copper wire windings are wound around the core, responsible for carrying electric current and creating the magnetic field necessary for rotation. At one end, it features a commutator (copper segmented ring) that connects with carbon brushes, enabling current flow into the windings. The opposite end has a fan blade (plastic cooling fan) mounted to help dissipate heat and keep the motor from overheating. A machined shaft runs through the armature, with one end shaped for coupling to gears or bearings, allowing smooth transmission of torque.
