Forms insoluble crystals inside concrete capillaries to block water penetration. Works against both positive and negative water pressure. Provides permanent waterproofing by becoming part of the concrete structure. Protects reinforcement steel from corrosion. Water-vapor permeable, allowing the structure to “breathe.” Resistant to freeze–thaw cycles and aging.
