Scalp Vein Set

A scalp vein set (or Butterfly Wing Luer Lock, butterfly needle, or Winged infusion set) is a sterile, single-use medical device used for peripheral intravenous (IV) access, especially in small or fragile veins (e.g., in children, infants, and elderly patients). It features a very thin, short stainless steel needle, two flexible "butterfly" wings for secure, stable positioning, and a 20-35 cm, small-bore flexible tube that reduces the risk of vein trauma and allows for easy handling.
