All the taps and dies are constructed from highly durable GCr15 bearing steel for extended tool life, and are built to cut through all metal hardware, rods, pipes, plates made from carbon steel, cast iron, alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, magnesium, zinc or other materials.
