Punchdown Networking Tool

A punchdown tool (also known as an IDC tool or Krone tool) is a specialized handheld device used to insert and trim network or telephone wires into insulation-displacement connectors (IDC) on patch panels, keystone jacks, and wall outlets. It ensures a secure, corrosion-resistant electrical connection by forcing the wire into a bladed slot that peels back the insulation without damaging the conductor.
