Utilizing single or twin screws, they heat, mix, and transport materials, crucial for industries like packaging, construction, and rubber compounding. Key Components & Operation Hopper: Feeds raw material (granules, powder) into the machine. Barrel & Screw(s): Contains one or more rotating screws that transport, melt, and homogenize the material. Heating/Cooling Zones: Regulate temperature along the barrel to melt the material. Die: Shapes the molten material as it is forced out.
