Pallet Trolley

​Function: It is the most basic form of a forklift, used for horizontal movement of goods in places like warehouses, stockrooms, distribution centers, and retail environments. ​Design: It consists of a pair of forks that slide underneath a pallet, a hydraulic pump mechanism, a steerable handle (or tow bar), and wheels (steer wheels and load wheels). ​Operation: ​The forks are positioned under the pallet. ​The operator uses the handle to pump a hydraulic mechanism, which raises the forks just high enough to lift the pallet clear of the floor. ​The load is then manually pushed or pulled to its destination. ​A lever or control on the handle is used to release the hydraulic pressure and lower the forks.
