Outdoor infrared (IR) beam sensors are active, point-to-point perimeter security devices consisting of a transmitter and receiver that create an invisible, pulsed light barrier. They are designed for rugged, all-weather outdoor use, featuring waterproof housing, anti-glare technology, and high-intensity infrared to detect intruders (by breaking the beam) while ignoring small animals.
