The HG8546M, optical network terminal (ONT), is a high-end residential gateway in the FTTH solution and is perfect for homes and small business. By using GPON SC/UPC technology, access to ultra-wideband internet is provided to home and soho users. It enables wireless WiFi transmission in 2.4 Ghz band, according to IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards. Maximum wireless transmission capacity is 300 Mbps, the device has two external antennas with 2 dbi gain each. Therefore, the HG8546M provides ideal terminal solution and support for future ftth implementation.
