The Joy-Con controllers are compatible with the Nintendo Switch console. They can be used independently, attached to the console for handheld mode, or combined with a grip to be used as a single controller. Each controller has an accelerometer and gyro-sensor for motion control. The right Joy-Con controller has an NFC touchpoint for use with Amiibo figures. They connect via Bluetooth and have a battery life of up to 20 hours on a full charge.
