The Ubiquiti NanoStation 5AC Loco is a compact, weather-resistant outdoor wireless bridge designed for short-to-medium range Point-to-Point (PtP) or Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) networks. Operating on the 5 GHz frequency band, it leverages airMAX AC technology to deliver reliable data throughput exceeding 450 Mbps. The device features a single Mbps Gigabit Ethernet port, which handles network traffic and accepts 24V Passive PoE power. For deployment, it includes a secondary 2.4 GHz management radio, enabling administrators to easily configure, align, and monitor the device wirelessly via a smartphone using the UISP app. It provides a sleek, low-profile, and highly cost-effective option for extending broadband connections between buildings.
