Muscovy Ducks

Muscovy duck is the most common duck breed in Kenya. Muscovy Ducks make a good broody and will often sit 3 or 4 times per year. It is the only domestic duck not to have descended from the Wild Mallard. They are large ducks, with the males weighing up to 7 kg. Females are considerably smaller and only grow to 3 kg, roughly half the males’ size. Our prices Mature ducks – Males are KES 2,000, while females are KES1,500.
