Age: 4 weeks Breed type: Improved Kienyeji (dual-purpose, disease-resistant) Appearance: Mostly feathered, with characteristic brown, black, or speckled patterns starting to show. Some reddening on combs. Behavior: Very active, already scratching and pecking. Naturally alert, quick to respond to sound. Feeding: On chick starter (20–22% protein) + free access to clean water. Can begin introducing fine greens or soft kitchen scraps. Housing: Transitioning from brooder to a secure, predator-proof pen with a small outdoor run during the day. Health: Strong legs, bright eyes, good feather coverage. No pasty vent observed.
