FILTER HOUSING FEATURES In-line shell: Protects and houses the filter element safely under pressure. Standard sizes: 20-inch lengths (Big Clear & Blue widths). Ports: Includes inlet and outlet water connection port (1" thread). Pressure relief: Features a small red or black button on top to release trapped air and water pressure during changes. CTO Filter Features Carbon block: Made of compressed activated carbon (often coconut shell). Contaminant removal: Stops chlorine, bad tastes, odors, and particles larger than 5 microns. Lifespan: Needs replacement every 3 to 6 months depending on water use. Placement: Works well inside standard housings either standalone or as a pre/post-filter for RO systems and UV setups.
