Designed for quick and easy clamping, often with one-handed operation due to a quick-release mechanism. Provides strong clamping force, with models capable of up to 60KGS or 135KGS depending on size. Can be converted to a spreader with a quick-change button on some models. May include features like removable, swivel jaws and non-marring pads to protect workpieces. Often features an I-beam bar design to reduce bending and flexing under pressure.
