What’s in the Box? The Planer: The main blue tool. It has a rotating drum with blades on the bottom that shave off thin layers of wood. Parallel Guide (Fence): The long metal brackets. Depth Adjustment Knob: The large knob on the front (top-left in the box illustration) allows you to set exactly how much wood you want to remove per pass.
