Head Gear Boxing

Whether you're an amateur or pro, at some point in boxing you’ll be struck in the head and need the proper protection to reduce the chance of injury. Whether in training or in a competitive fight, punches to the head are simply inevitable. In training, there’s really no need to put your head at any risk and doing so might stop your training regime or impair your ability to take on an up and coming fight. Sparring for fun or training purposes with headshots allowed is excellent for improving your defense, and it certainly gives you an idea of how it feels to take a head punch without putting your head at extra unnecessary risk. It’s best not to remove head shots from training altogether, but it’s certainly always sensible to invest in suitable quality headgear. It’ll probably be the best bit of boxing gear that you’ll investment in.
