Handheld pulse oximeter is a medical device used to non-invasively measure a patient’s oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels and pulse rate. Unlike fingertip models, handheld oximeters typically consist of a main unit with a display screen connected by a cable to a clip-style sensor that is attached to a patient’s finger, toe, or earlobe.
