Flexible Scalfold

Standards (or Uprights): The vertical tubes or poles that transfer the entire load of the scaffold to the ground. ​Ledgers: The horizontal tubes that run parallel to the building and connect the standards. ​Transoms: The horizontal tubes that run perpendicular to the ledgers and support the working platform. ​Braces: Diagonal components that reinforce the scaffold's structure and prevent it from swaying. ​Boards (or Decks): The planks that form the working platform where workers stand and place their tools. These are often made of wood, steel, or aluminum. ​Couplers (or Clamps): The fittings that hold the various tubes together.
