Huawei Xpon HG8456M (often sold as HG8546M) is a fiber-to-the-home terminal/router (XPON ONT) used with GPON/EPON broadband networks to bring high-speed fiber internet into homes and small offices. It connects directly to a fiber optic line and converts the optical signal into Ethernet and Wi-Fi for your devices. It typically includes a 1 GE (Gigabit Ethernet) port, 3 FE (Fast Ethernet) ports, 1 POTS phone port, 1 USB port, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi support based on IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards to provide wireless internet access. The device supports remote management by ISPs and offers basic networking services for voice, data, and video over fiber connections.
