Fibermesh Alternative For Brc Mesh

Fibermesh is added into the concrete mix to control cracking and increase toughness. During mixing, the fibers are sprinkled slowly into the rotating concrete mixer so they disperse evenly. This creates a fiber-reinforced matrix inside the concrete. Most projects use 0.6–1 kg of fibers per cubic meter of concrete, depending on strength requirements. After mixing for a few minutes, the concrete is poured, compacted, and finished like normal—no extra steps needed. Fibermesh helps reduce early-age shrinkage cracks, improves load distribution, resists impact, and enhances durability. It is commonly used for house slabs, driveways, walkways, industrial floors, foundations, and overlays, reducing or replacing traditional wire mesh reinforcement in many cases.
