Door Push to Exit Button

A Push to Exit button (sometimes called a Request to Exit button or REX button) is a device commonly used in access control systems. Purpose: It allows people inside a secured area (like an office, warehouse, or restricted room) to unlock the door and exit without needing an access card, fob, or key. How it works: The button is mounted near the door (usually on the wall at hand height). When pressed, it sends a signal to the door lock system or access control panel. The electronic strike or magnetic lock releases, allowing the door to open.
