The GAC ESD5500E Series Speed Control Unit is an electronic governor designed to precisely control the speed of diesel and gas engines, especially in generators. It quickly responds to load changes to maintain stable engine performance. It is compatible with both 12V and 24V systems and supports isochronous (constant speed) and droop (load-based speed variation) modes. The unit features multiple adjustable settings (starting fuel, speed ramping, gain, stability, idle, and droop) and includes built-in protections against reverse voltage, surges, and short circuits. It is also built to operate reliably in harsh conditions, with a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
