Product Description

D‐Link DES‐1008C is an 8‐port unmanaged Fast Ethernet network switch that makes it easy to expand a wired LAN in homes, small offices, or small/medium businesses. It provides eight 10/100 Mbps auto‐sensing RJ‐45 ports, supports plug‐and‐play installation with no configuration required, and uses Auto MDI/MDIX so you don’t need crossover cables. All ports support full/half‐duplex operation and 802.3x flow control for more reliable data transfer. It also incorporates 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) to reduce power consumption by lowering power to idle or shorter cable connections. The switch has a compact, fanless design for silent operation and LEDs to show link/activity and speed status on each port.
