Crane Hoist/Chain Block

Load Chain: A heavy-duty chain with a hook at the end, designed to be attached directly to the object being lifted. ​Hand Chain: A smaller chain that the operator pulls by hand to engage the lifting mechanism. ​Lifting Mechanism: Contained within a durable casing, this is a system of gears and a brake that provides a mechanical advantage, allowing a person to lift a very heavy load with relatively little effort.
