A colostomy bag, also called a pouch, is a plastic bag that collects stool after a colostomy operation, which creates an opening (stoma) in the abdominal wall to divert waste from the colon. It's attached to the stoma to collect stool as it passes through the digestive tract. there is two types; disposable and reusable.
