Cardiotocograph - CTG Machine

Product Description
CTG stands for cardiotocography, a technique used to monitor a fetus's heart rate and a mother's uterine contractions during pregnancy and labor. A cardiotocograph is the machine used to perform the monitoring.
CTG is commonly used during pregnancy to assess the well-being of the fetus, especially in pregnancies with a higher risk of complications. A normal fetal heart rate during labor is between 110 and 160 beats per minute. A persistently low or high heart rate, or fluctuations in the heart rate, could indicate a problem.
Continuous CTG is recommended when risk factors for fetal compromise are detected. However, it should not be used as a substitute for a midwife.
