Autoclaving Tape

Changes color (e.g., from beige to black) when exposed to correct sterilization temperatures. Contains chemical indicators that react to heat and/or steam. Used to seal instrument packs or wraps during sterilization. Usage: Applied to the outside of sterilization pouches or wraps. After autoclaving, a color change confirms exposure to sterilizing conditions (not sterility itself).
