Types of argon regulators 1. Pressure-gauge regulator Shows cylinder pressure and outlet pressure. Useful for general gas control. Often used with a separate flow meter. 2. Argon flowmeter regulator Measures gas flow in L/min. Common for TIG and MIG welding. Typical welding flow is around 8–15 L/min, depending on the process and torch.
