Ambient Temperature Sensor

The ambient air temperature sensor on a Mercedes-Benz is a small, pencil-shaped probe that measures the outside air temperature. While it seems minor, it plays a vital role. It feeds data to the Front SAM module to show the temperature on your dashboard, and it dictates how your Automatic Climate Control (A/C) behaves.
