Actellic super dust is a broad spectrum insecticidal dust for the control of stored maize and small grain cereals pests, including control of larger grain borer. available packages: 2kg @ ksh. 2200, 1kg @ ksh. 1350, 500gm @ ksh. 750, 200gm @ ksh. 400, 100gm @ ksh. 250, 50gm @ ksh. 150 timing of application:: * maize should be dried and shelled immediately after harvest.the moisture content of the grain should not exceed 14%. it is not recommended to use actellic super on cob maize to control the greater grain borer. better control of pests is obtained on shelled grain. rate of application:: * mix 50g to every 90kg of grain using a shovel * the grain must be admixed thoroughly with actellic super dust for effective control of larger grain borer and other major storage pests * sprinkle some actellic super on the outside of the bag to avoid infestation from the outside
