Match the regulator to your cylinder size — 12 kg/13 kg regulators are designed for those larger LPG bottles, not the small 6 kg ones. Get safety clips + appropriate hose — if you just buy the regulator, be sure you have a proper gas hose and safety clips for installation. Inspect for quality — look for low‐pressure (about 28–37 mbar) types made for domestic cooking gas; cheap or high‐pressure industrial regulators are not suitable for household stoves and burners.
