Standard Survey Prism

Description: The prism offset is the distance between the reflective surface of the prism and the mounting point of the prism (usually the base or the center). Common Offsets: Standard offsets include 0 mm, 17.5 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, and 100 mm, with 30 mm and 40 mm being most common. Importance: The correct offset must be set in the total station to ensure accurate distance measurement. If not properly adjusted, the survey results could be inaccurate.
