Stainless Acid Pickling

Stainless steel acid pickling paste (often referred to as pickling gel or passivating paste) is a thick, acidic, adhesive chemical compound used to clean and restore the corrosion resistance of stainless steel surfaces, particularly after welding or high-temperature processing. It is designed to remove contaminants, such as heat tint, discolouration, oxide scale, and free iron, from austenitic and duplex stainless steel, as well as nickel and aluminum.
