Ganong Photometer

Genongs potometer is a laboratory device designed to measure the rate of water uptake (transpiration) by a cut plant shoot. It consists of a branched glass tube with a wide-mouthed cylinder for the shoot, a graduated capillary tube with an air bubbled indicator, and a water reservoir with a stopcock, all usually mounted on a stand.
